Court awards summary judgment in favor of Caesars Entertainment on claims and counterclaims related to $3 million in markers

The United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi has awarded summary judgment in favor of numerous Caesars Entertainment entities in a matter involving a patron who signed $3 million in markers at three Caesars Entertainment casinos. The District Court ruled in favor of Caesars Entertainment on all of the plaintiff’s claims. The District Court also found in favor of Horseshoe Tunica on its counterclaim for the remaining unpaid markers and awarded pre-judgment interest and attorney fees. Cal Mayo, Paul Watkins, Kate Embry and Matt Burris represented Caesars Entertainment.
