Tommy Rosser is of counsel and heads the Firm's
affiliated Immigration Group.
A member of the American Immigration Lawyers
Association since 1996, Mr. Rosser's practice emphasizes employment-based
immigration law and handles labor certifications, national interest waivers,
H's, E's, F's, J's, L's, P's, O's, TN's, adjustments of status, EAD'S, affidavits of
support, advance parole, consular processing and naturalization applications on a regular basis.
Family-based cases have also been a consistent portion of his practice.
For the better part of two decades, he lived and worked
in Mexico as the resident sales and marketing representative for several
transnational companies, including Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company, Jones and
Laughlin Steel Corporation, Ladish & Company, Wisconsin Centrifugal Company,
Babcock & Wilcox, Inc., and as the exclusive distributor in Mexico for Sara Lee
Corporation's Bakery Division. He has also served as a member of the board of
directors, construction services manager, and general sales manager for the
development company that created and built the Santa Anita Golf and Country Club
condominium community in Guadalajara, Mexico, beginning in 1973. His direct
experience includes transactional work with Mexico, Guatemala, Venezuela, Peru,
and Ecuador, as well as significant dealings with suppliers and trading
companies from Japan, Taiwan, Germany, Great Britain, Italy and Spain.
Mr. Rosser holds a Masters Degree in International
Business and Economics from the Institute of Latin American Studies at the
University of Texas at Austin in addition to his Juris Doctorate from the
University of Mississippi. He has been a Fulbright Foreign Exchange Scholar at
the National University of Mexico, a Lewis-Farmington Fellow at Yale University
in the field of romance languages and has served as a member of the Board of
Trustees of Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, New Jersey, in the areas
of finance and audit, since 1986. Mr. Rosser holds both United States and Mexican citizenship, is fluent in Spanish, and is honorably discharged from the United States Army.
He is married to the former Lynda Caroline Austin of Lake Cormorant,
Mississippi.
